Pet First Aid Training

Dogaholics owner Sarah Macknak is pleased to offer and instruct pet first aid training and instructs the Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid curriculum – the longest standing Pet First Aid course in Canada. The curriculum is developed by owner Lisa Wagner, a national team of Vets and Pet Health professionals. This course is ideal for pet owners, dog walkers, pet care workers, pet sitters and anyone that wants to learn how to be a first responder in an emergency situation.

Certificate is valid for 3 years from course completion. Requests for replacement certificates must be made in writing and are $15 CAD.

Cancellation Policy
*We will return full payment if a cancellation is made up to one week prior to the course date. Any cancellations after this time are subject to a $25 administration fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of course will not be refunded. Once registered your space is non-transferable.

All classes will run from 8:45am to 6:45pm
There is a maximum number of dogs allowed to be registered and will be accepted in order of registration. If we cannot accommodate your dogs registration we will notify you prior to the first class. *You are fully responsible for your dog and any actions they may take for the duration of the course. If your dog causes any damages or injuries to another person, animal or object you will be held fully responsible and will be required to rectify the situation prior to leaving the class. Your dog must be obedient, relatively calm, quiet when required and social with other dogs & people as they may be handled by others during class demos. We reserve the right to send any dog home if s/he is felt to be disruptive or unsuitable for the class. First aid is covered for cats, however, due to the environment we regret that cats are unable to attend, as the dog(s) in class become too distracted.*
